LET'S EXPLORE GOOGLE CLASSROOMS
This overview will walk you through the various functionality found on the classroom tab.
HIGH-LEVEL INFO:
At the top of the page you will find high level information about the classrooms in your environment.
This section will display the total number of all, active, archived and recently modified (within last week) classrooms in your domain.
RESULTS BOX:
Below the high-level overview you will find the results box. Here, all classrooms found within your environment will be displayed. The results box has nine columns with relevant information about each classroom.
Course Name: The classroom's course name
Section: The section the classroom was created in.
Room: The room number given to the classroom.
Description: The classroom's description
Enrollment Code: The classroom's enrollment code, given to students to join.
Owner Email: Email address of the classroom's owner.
Alternate Link: Alternate link used to access the classroom
Calendar ID: The classroom's calendar ID.
Creation Time: The timestamp from when the classroom was created.
SEARCHING:
You can search through your classrooms by the following parameters using the search bar.
- Course Name
- Section
- Room
- Enrollment Code
- Owner Email
FILTERING:
You can filter your classrooms using the blue "Filter" button on the right side of the page.
This will open the filter options on the right of the page. From here you can click "Add Parameter" which will show you the only filter option currently available which is "Status".
Once checked, you can choose to filter by either "ACTIVE", "ARCHIVED", "PROVISIONED" or "ORPHANED" classrooms. Once chosen, click "Apply" to see results.
DETAILS:
Clicking on the Course Name of any classroom will take you to the classroom details page. This pages Actions drop down allows you to:
- Transfer Ownership
- Add/Remove Participants(Co-Teacher or Student(s))
- Archive
- Delete
Also on this page is a breakdown of the users and their corresponding roles within the classroom.
Bulk Actions include "Remove Student(s)."
