Overview:
The ManagedMethods Cloud Monitor platform contains a wide variety of domain data which often times includes risky, sensitive or confidential content. It's important to protect resources that expose this level of user detail. One layer of protection can be covered by ensuring platform account(s) login access is applied appropriately.
Detail:
Google's SSO is an effective way to provide additional security measures during login attempts. The platform has settings to allow for login with username and password or SSO. Platform "Super Admins" have ability to enforce the Google SSO option during login for any account.
Enforce SSO:
Navigate to the "Admin" section then select "Users". Clicking the edit "Pencil" icon next to an account provides access for enforcing SSO.
From the edit section toggle the "Enforce Google Sign On" option and "Save".
Note:
- Enabling this setting restricts accounts from using or generating username and password for login.
