Overview:
Quarantining content is ideal when needing to complete investigations or obtain direct file access. Quarantined results receive a special flag in the platform to make them easily identifiable. Data summary sections also provide filter options to quickly sort for any Quarantine related results.
Detail:
This action triggers a file location change and ownership update related to the platform's connected admin account. Additionally, any existing shares get revoked to ensure file access is available only for admin purposes.
Quarantine:
Content gets moved to the platform admin's Google Drive. Files can be found in the folder named "CAM_QUARANTINE".
Restore:
Many cases might not require the file to remain Quarantined. Quarantined sources have a "Restore" option. The restore action ensures the file is reset to its original configuration.
Note:
- The default "CAM_QUARANTINE" folder name can be changed by submitting a request to support.
