Overview:
Quarantining content is ideal when needing to reduce visibility and chance of user access during investigation. Quarantined results receive a special flag in the platform to make them easily identifiable. Data summary sections also provide filter options to quickly sort for any Quarantine related results.
Detail:
This action triggers a email location change from the "Inbox" to "Trash" folder. Alternatively, upon request emails can be moved to "Spam" folder.
Quarantine:
Content gets moved to the recipients "Inbox" to "Trash" folder. Emails can still be accessed though the users "Trash" folder.
Restore:
Many cases might not require the email to remain Quarantined. Quarantined sources have a "Restore" option. The restore action ensures the email is reset to its original "Inbox" location.
Note:
- The default "Trash" folder assignment can be changed to "Spam" by submitting a request to support.
