Stolen or Lost Device Management

Overview

Devices can be flagged as stolen. A device that is flagged as stolen will automatically block all websites if someone attempts to use chrome. They will be presented with a message that can be set by an administrator.

Flagging/Unflagging a Device as Stolen/Lost

1. Navigate to the Devices by clicking the Devices tab at the top of the page.
2. Locate the device you want to set as stolen or remove the stolen flag from.
3. In the Actions column, you can click the black lock icon, red if it's already flagged as stolen, and you will be presented with a new popup.
4. In the popup check, or uncheck, the box labeled: Lost or Stolen
5. If you're setting it to stolen, you can also set a custom message you wish to display on the device should someone attempt to use chrome.
6. Click the blue Save button on the right hand side.

Reviewing Stolen Devices with Activity

1. Navigate to the Devices by clicking the Devices tab at the top of the page.
2. In the Filter section find the drop down labeled Lost or Stolen Status
3. Select either Reported or Reported with Activity
   • Reported will show all devices that are reported
   • Reported with Activity will show all devices that are reported and someone has attempted to use the Chrome browser.
