This guide will demonstrate how to analyze the google meet activity within your domain.
STEP ONE:
Log in to your ManagedMethods platform.
Navigate to the Audit & Control page, and select the Name of your desired Cloud Environment. (Global Views will show all accounts in your domain, while filtered views will show only users for that view)
STEP THREE:
Navigate to the "Accounts" tab.
STEP FOUR:
On the top right of the page, hover over the "Report" button and select "Analyze Meet Activity" from the drop-down menu.
STEP FIVE:
Select your desired time-frame from the drop-down menu and click "View".
STEP SIX:
A new browser tab will open with all Google Meet activity from the selected time frame.
Meeting Tile:
MeetId: Meet link used to join.
Conference Id: Unique ID for each block of time that participants are in a meet.
Organized By: User who created the meetId.
Participant list: List of users who were present in the meet.
- Hovering over any of the icons will show what it indicates.
- If user is in your Gsuite domain, their Organization Unit will be shown in parentheses after their name.
- Dates and times on the right indicate when the user joined. Hovering over it will show total duration that user was in the meet.
Meeting Info:
(Click the number to filter results)
Total Meetings: Total number of meetings in the selected time frame.
With External Users: Number of meetings with at least one participant who is not in your Gsuite domain.
Video Shares: Number of meetings where at least one participant shared video (had a camera enabled).
Screen Shares: Number of meetings where at least one participant shared their screen.
Outside US: Number of meetings where at least one participant join from an IP address outside of the United States.
Search Bar:
Organizer's Email: Search for meetings created by a certain user's email address.
Participant's Name: Search for meetings that had at least one participant with a certain name.
Within OU: Search for meetings with at least one participant who is in a certain Organization Unit.
OU Specific: Search for meetings where all internal domain participants are in a certain Organizational Unit. (ex: search your student's OU to see all meetings where there were only student participants.)
